It’s that time of the year again! Halloween is just around the corner, and Sacred Heart Major Seminary needs your help. Each year the seminary community opens their doors and their hearts to over 2,000 children from the surrounding Detroit neighborhood so that the kids can have a fun and safe place to play games and trick-or-treat. They need your help to make this year a success! They are asking for donations of individually wrapped Halloween candy that will then be passed out to the many kids.

Please consider donating a few cans of soup or stew to help provide nourishing meals for our Pantry families. Donations will help us keep these items available for families throughout the fall and winter months.

This year’s Catholic Services Appeal (CSA) theme is Your Faith. Your Heart. His Mission. “For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be” (Matthew 6:21). These words remind us that our mission flows from what we love most. When our hearts are rooted in Christ, His mission becomes our own—to proclaim the Gospel, form disciples, accompany those who suffer, and bring the light of His love throughout southeast Michigan. Make a gift by calling 888-331-8695, visiting www.givecsa.org, or scanning the QR code.

Join us in the Social Hall after each Sunday Mass for coffee and donuts, and the opportunity to hear firsthand experiences and see photos from parishioners who traveled to Medjugorje last year.
